Taking Tasteful Wild Game Harvest Pictures

We, as hunters, shouldn’t feel ashamed to share our hard work and determination. Hundreds if not thousands of groups exist on social media for that purpose alone. Within those groups, the topic of respectful hunting photos rarely surfaces. We take the good with the okay, congratulate the hunter, and move on for the day. Even when we stumble upon photos we wouldn’t have taken, we remind ourselves the ‘perfect’ picture isn’t always possible and we go about our day.

My First Turkey

It was a chilly, April morning in 2016 when we got up and ready to go hunt. Once my brother and niece arrived, we loaded up and headed out. The sun was rising when we got to our location, so my husband started calling to try and locate the birds. We slowly made our way down to the bottoms where we though they'd be. My First Buck

It was a warm, sunny afternoon in November of 2014. I was still new to hunting since it was my first year doing it. My husband decided to join me on this hunt.
