BBQ Venison Meatballs

Meatball Ingredients:

2 lb. ground venison, crumbled

1 cup long grain white rice, cooked

1 large egg

1/2 large onion, diced

2 garlic cloves, diced

1/2 tsp. salt

1/4 tsp. black pepper

Meatball Sauce Ingredients:

1 cup grape jelly

12 oz. chili sauce

1/4 tsp. garlic powder

1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper

1/4 tsp. salt

Directions:

Add the grape jelly to a saucepan and break it up using a fork. Then add the chili sauce, garlic powder, cayenne, and salt and heat on low heat until it is melted and incorporated well. Remove from heat and set it aside for later.

In a large bowl, add all of the ingredients for the meatballs and mix well. Shape into 20 meatballs and place them in a 9" x 13" baking dish.

Pour the meatball sauce over the venison meatballs and bake for 20 minutes or until done. Serve over rice or with mashed potatoes or baked potatoes.
