Hunters Turkey Feather- Antler Wreath

Start with out with a large pre-made round wooden wreath. Pick out 14 of your best looking turkey feathers and put them aside. Then pick out 14 more turkey feathers. You'll be adding 7 feathers to each side (the left & right) of your wreath. Go ahead to pick out 7 for each side and lay them out. If you take a look at photo 2 you'll see how they will be layered on each side of the wreath. You will start off adding your first feather to the top of the left side of your wreath. I used the wire to attach the feather to the wreath in two places making it bend. Then add your first feather to the right side of your wreath the same way. You will add seven feathers total to each side using this method. Then I added an antler to each side so they were slightly offset. I used lots of the wire to secure the antlers in three places. These will need to be secured well because they weigh a good bit. Make sure you secure them to four or more pieces of the wooden wreath each place you attach them too. I then added the berries, sunflowers and pinecones. I saved the leaves for last because I used them to help cover up the wire. To finish the wreath just add your bow on top!
