Kosibate Bellyband Holster

I bought the Kosibate Bellyband Holster last summer prior to a hiking trip when I did not plan very well and found myself looking for a holster at the last minute and was searching for options within a two-day shipping window.

Being new to carrying, I read a lot of reviews prior to the purchase of this particular holster.  For the style of this band, I worried about it rolling up and becoming a tight, rope-like strangulation device around my waist.  The reviews looked pretty good and many commented about comfortably wearing this, even with yoga pants and being plus-size.

This band provides options of different carry points as well as pockets for extra magazines.  I am still working to find what I think feels the best, but have been using this for a front, right-hand side carry.

I ordered a large, being a curvy girl, and knowing there were many rows of hook and eyes for adjustment options.  I cinch it up pretty tight and am pleased to say, I haven’t had any bunching or rolling.  The first time I wore this holster, I wore yoga pants and went on a two mile hike. I was pleasantly surprised that it didn’t dig and it did not take long to not even realize it was there.

Since that time, I have worn this band with jeans just “around” as well as with ski pants on snowshoeing treks. In each instance, I find it to be more comfortable than expected and really don’t even notice it.

I am also pleased with the quality of this piece for the price.  It has held up well, it’s cute, and I would definitely recommend this for someone just starting out and not knowing what type of carry they want to use.
